Calling all avid CAL Readers: There is a new Al-Anon Recovery Book on the horizon. The title is – “Opening Our Hearts, Transforming Our Losses.” Order number B-29 and sells for $14.00. It should be out sometime in May. The book will address facing grief and loss with the help of Al-Anon. Look for this new book at our July Area Assembly.

One of our pamphlets entitled “Three Views of Al-Anon” P-15 will have a new name with the next printing – “Three Views of Al-Anon--Alcoholics Speak to the Family”.

It's here and was presented at our recent Area Assembly: The CD ROM of Courage to Change (B-16 CD-ROM), selling for $15.00. Keep in mind that you won't be able to make copies, download it, or use it in a Mac or CD Player.

e-Cal: The WSO Staff has designed a home page for e-Cal where it resides on the Members' Web site at www.al-anon.alateen.org/members. The e-cal home page will be the place where members can submit their e-Cal sharings. Also where you can go to read the most recent submissions since e-Cal became up and running. Remember: when accessing the www.al-anon.alateen.org/members site, use your home group name PLUS the letters AFG as your password.

News from the Forum : If you are looking for an article on a particular topic, now you can access The Forum Index as it is compiled instead of having to wait until the Dec. issue of the year comes out. Just go to our Members' Web Site to be able to use The Forum Index -- it is a very helpful Al-Anon tool, especially when you are looking for a meeting topic. Go to www/al-anon.org/members, to the Publications section and then to the Forum page.
Questions: Did you know that the WSO mails out a complimentary copy of The Forum to ALL registered, English speaking groups using the Current Mailing Address (CMA) listed for each group? Is your group getting theirs? Have you seen your group's copy at your meetings? If you have not seen your group’s copies, ask your GR to contact WSO to verify that the group's CMA is correct.

Calling all Alateens: Here is a plea straight from WSO to Alateen groups in our Area; Alateens, will you participate in the Forum by choosing a meeting topic and sending in four to six questions to the magazine? Ask the questions just as if you were asking them in your group meetings. Please help the Forum with this, WSO really needs your input. "Just received this information today and it has a due date of April 21. Would love for our Area to once again participate in this great introduction to our Literature Project. We were one of the 22 areas who participated in the past one covering the book "From Survival to Recovery." The selected submissions will appear on the WSO Web Site under Members/Sample Chapter in April, along with being in April's Forum. I hope we see our Area's submissions." included.
